soccer blogg 4
For todays post we will be continuing on from last time, starting at rule 13. Rule 13 talks all about free kicks, a free kick is when a player on one team is fouled by a player on the other team. They are then able to either indirectly or directly kick the ball at the goal. you may try and score on a direct free kick but you may not score on an indirect free kick. Rule 14 is the penalty kick. this is awarded if the ball is touched by the hand in the goal box from anyone but the keeper. also if you foul anyone in the goal box or if you charge the keeper. Rule 15 is the proper way to do a throw-in. A throw in is put into play when the ball goes out of bounds. If one team kicks it out, the other team is then allowed to use there hands to throw the ball back into the marked boundries. rule 16 is the goal kick. If the ball goes out of boundries when inside the 18 the other team is awarded a goal kick. This is when the keeper or a defender put the ball on the ground and kick it back into play. The final rule is rule number 17, the corner kick. If the ball is kicked out of bounds on any of the corners of the field the team is awarded a corner kick that is directly kicked towards the goal. That ends the 17 rules of soccer and how they all make the game run smooth.
