Today we will be learning more about the 17 rules of soccer.  Last time we left off with rule 9 so we will be continuing on with rule 10.  Rule 10 is all about the method of scoring goals and obtaining points in the game.  To score a point a player of the team must score in the opposite goal of the field.  Obviously you want to score into the goal that you and your team in not defending.  Anyone on the team can score the goal as long as you are not off sides.  Rule number 11 states the rules about offsides,  offsides means that if an offensive player has the ball and is running behind the opponents deffenders.  When a player goes off sides the reffs will blow the whistle on the play and the other team is offered either an indirect of direct free kick.  rule 12 states fouls and misconducts in the game of soccer.  There are so many fouls that may be accounted for in soccer, if you kick your aponents in any bad way or harm any players on the feild then you will either be given a red or a yellow card on the field.  In general it is best to just play a clean game on the field so that no fouls are called because they can eventually hurt your team in the long run.
